A yellow breed of Mocchi that has a thick shell on its back, and covers its sticky skin in sand. It is eventually revealed to be related to Suezo, which is unusual because it has both of its eyes. However, when it appears in Monster Rancher 3 (a game that does not allow combining) it is classified according to where it lives. Warabi live in the desert region known as Takrama.

Etymology

Warabi is a type of mochi that is made from bracken powder (as opposed to the traditional glutinous rice) that is then often dipped or covered in kinako (soybean flour) this gives it the toasted yellow-brown color it has. The monster is this same color, and is associated with mochi, hence the name.
