Wild Hare is an old friend of Hare's in the anime series that reunites with him in Season 3. He grew up as part of a Robin Hood-like gang that stole from the Baddies and returned those things to their rightful owners. He eventually became friends with Fairy Hare and Hare, and the three of them continued on the tradition for several years.
Season 3[]
Once they reunite years later, Hare explains that eventually Wild Hare developed a crush on Fairy Hare, but mistakenly thought that she and Hare were in love. They believed that he died tragically during a raid on a Baddie storehouse not long after, and decided to disband their group. In reality, his jealousy over the thought of his two partners being together eventually drove him to work for the Baddies himself, and he now does freelance work for Durahan. After a fight with the Searchers over the Dark Disc, however, he realizes his error and changes his ways.
