Yukiran is a small village located on the edge of the Black Mountains. The village was built next to a large mountain lake and the villagers carefully constructed a dam to create a reservoir. Even though the city is unnamed in the anime series, the Searchers help the villagers build a new dam when the Evil Hares try to destroy it and wash the entire village away.
In Monster Rancher 3, there is a tournament called the Yukiran Memorial to commemorate when the first dam was built.
